
The Future for Techno students : Lessons from Alumni Feedback
Unanimous view of successful alumni of Techno NJR which is now working in Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, L&T, Siemens, Bosch and some in USA is that though they may have disliked extra long hours at Techno NJR but this has been one of the main reason for their corporate success. They strongly feel students and faculty need to do more work at college howsoever straining it may be. Successful placement of Techno students with Global companies year after year have strengthened our resolve to ensure that students and faculty do even more work from this year.

Prof. Pradeep sir has been most respected and feared teacher of Udaipur whether at Geetanjali or at Techno. Respected for his knowledge and commitment to students but feared because of his desire for perfection in students. Prof. Pradeep sir will be heading the CS department to ensure that both faculty and students work hard. It is only hard working leader who can ensure his team works hard and deliver the result. Best students of Udaipur have taken admission in CS/IT and it is our responsibility to ensure that they get best faculty, best training and best placement . This is possible only through hard work , sincerity and right direction. So hard working days ahead for CS/IT students.
Why Changes are Required at Techno NJR
Profile of IT jobs is changing and there is a strong reason for alarm for students studying B.Tech in CS/IT. As per latest report most existing IT jobs are under threat and India is likely to loose 6.4 lacs IT jobs by 2021.

Knowledge and teaching of simple C/C++/Java etc will not be enough to get a job in future. Teachers teaching only these can not lead students to new Technology jobs and therefore there was urgent need to replace them with more knowledgeable and industry aligned teachers.
Techno NJR is a highly student centric college where good teaching ,extensive student engagement , training and as a result good placement is of paramount importance. When faculty and students of all departments like ECE, EEE, EE, ME and Civil were working extra time to raise their level of knowledge , faculty of CS department were working like government department leaving sharp at 3 pm , working minimum hours and worst not raising their level of knowledge. When other faculty at Techno NJR were busy upgrading their knowledge through prestigious online courses of MIT education, Coursera and EdX, some senior faculty members of CS department were either failing in these courses or worst refusing to do these courses fearing failure.
