This Temple is become attraction for all religious people over last few years. There are many People who visit the temple twice a day, Once in Morning and second Evening too. Sukh Devi Mata Temple Now days become most religious place for Udaipur people and people also come here from distance to Offer goods and pray for their families.Thousands of devotes of all religion worship here for better health and prosperity.
I also live almost 2 or 3 Km apart from the sukh Devi mata temple. I visit temple almost every Sunday. So I thought to share my experience and my best knowledge about the temple. Before I go further here’s something which should be known about mata Rani..
Sukh Devi Mata temple(Bedla Mata Mandir) is located in a Beautiful village Bedla. The architecture of the Temple is very beautiful and now a days it has been modified. The Temple has a shikhar, out side the inner temple is a Hawan Kunda for performance of Yojna. Around is the circumambulatory path. The material for construction is stone and Lime.

People have a strong faith in the miraculous power of the devi. This is therefore, a center of people’s faith. Local visitors and tourists come to the temple every day in large numbers.
Ambamata(अम्बामाता ) Temple on Hill Top
There is also a goddess Temple known as (Ambamata) in local which has been built on the hill attached to Sukhdevi Mata Temple. The view from the top of the hill is peacefull. The mata ji temple which is situated on the hill top to reach there you have to use stairs. The entire way is covered with natural mountain forest and lush greenery which makes the tough journey look easy. The tough walk and clean air helps people keep fit. The experience you get when you are at the top of hill is unmatched. I also met a group of health conscious people who climb here every morning. It was early morning so there was no crowd and the atmosphere was serene. The sunrise view from here is mesmerizing, no words for it. It is truly a “must visit” place.

People comes In large number in festival days.On festivals days the “pooja”celebrations of Sukh Devi Mata (Propularly also known as Bedla Mata) are held with great enthusiastic favour. On Navaratas of Chaitra and Ashwin , Dipawali, Dashera , and others festivals days, programmes , Bhajan singing and various other observance are held.
The main festival For the Temple is Navaratas which Is nine days festival. Many people comes from too far. And people comes in very large number. Many people some belongs to bedla village and some from out side used to walk to their home to take blessing of Mata Rani.
Some Amazing things About the Sukh Devi Mata Temple:-
- There is a place on the hill top near the Mata ji Temple which is called (oodi) in local language. From where Maharaja’s of Udaipur used to hunting.
2. Some years ago there was a long Cave found by local People Which is too long in length.
How to reach Sukh Devi Mata Temple
The temple is situated in the Bedla village. Its also near the National highway 76. Temple is approximate 8 to 9 Km far from the Delhigate(Udaipur). You can take 20 No. Auto to directly reach at the Sukhdevi Mata Temple or you can hire a persomal CAB.
